Big props to you fella. I played for a long time for Brighton 52's which then merged with the Crawley Raiders to create the Sussex Thunder. I had many an injury playing the RB position but found it a hell of a lot of fun and enjoyed my time.
When I retired I then turned to coaching with the junior team and ended up as a RB coach for the GB squad, this also led me to bigger and better things with some colleges in the States. Just 3 week stints to meet and greet and get my name banded around (no luck in the end) but ended up being written to by Jerry Jones and Raymond Berry who I had good relations with for many years.
Jerry used to send me signed Cowboys stuff (I burned some of it, lol) and Raymond used to send me all his coaching books and some very helpful tips from when he was coaching too. Good times but a wife and family soon took up too much of my time and that was the end of that

Have fun fella, the league is starting to grow in popularity again which is a great thing as it was in the wilderness for many a year. I have to say that nothing beat my experience playing against San Francisco college in the late eighties when they were over here for an exhibition game against the B52's. Yeah, we got absolutely killed but we had more support than Brighton and Hove Albion did for their division 1 match the day before.
