Any one like Cricket?

Are England going to steal the Ashes back? I dont think so unless all the Aussies get a dose of the trots.

Used to watch a bit when I live d down south. Liked watching Hampshire and the local pub used to hav a team. But I never really got into it.

I do like watching the 20/20 games.

Anyway I suppose that you are a might pleased at England regaining the ashes.

Aye, mighty pleased the Ashes are back where they belong. Talking of 20/20 games I'm off to Old Trafford tomorrow to watch England v Australia. I'll post some pictures Monday.

I will post some, when I get 5 as I need to upload them to Photobucket.
Game was a disappointment as it was abandoned just as England started their innings because of the rain.

Got to be disappointing, but it is the UK.

Mind you it ain't much better in Georgia. Very heavy rain lats 2 days and the prospect of a tropical storm to ruin the weekend.

This is the UK, it is rain with intermittent sunny spells. If you are really lucky.

England's last-wicket pair dramatically saved the third Test against South Africa by surviving the last 17 balls.

The tourists appeared to be coasting to a draw through Ian Bell (78) and Paul Collingwood (40), until four wickets tumbled in 64 balls of high tension.

But after Graeme Swann had seen off six balls of Dale Steyn, number 11 Graham Onions heroically did the same with the final over, bowled by Morne Morkel.

England ended on 296-9 to keep their 1-0 series lead with one game left.

I remember times in the not to distant past when we would have colapsed in games like this. That game saving last innings against the Aussies in last years 1st Test at Cardiff seems to have put some much needed belief in the tail.

There remains the tendency to have a mini collapse after losing a wicket in the middle order though.

That is indeed true. However at least we only lose the nine wickets Grin
