Not a movie but i'm loving the Walking Dead. Its on the FX channel.

Its based on the graphic novels, basically imagine the best bits of 28 days later in a series.  First seasons only 6 episodes long but its excellent, already been confirmed for season 2.

Andrew Lincoln (Egg from 'This Life') is the main character and is very good.  Plus its god the bird from Prison Break

But so far its 4 episodes in and its essential viewing
