It was announced this morning that the BBC had won the rights to show F1 from the 2009.

Not a big ffan of F1 but when I watched a bit when I was younger when Murray Walker was the voice of the sport. Never felt it was the same went it went to ITV.

ITV have done a great job in presenting the whole package but the BBC has the advantage of showing the race without interruptions. I wonder if Murray will make a comeback?

Would be surprised if Murray came back, he must be nearly 85. Jonathan Ledgard did the commentary for 5Live for awhile though not sure who does it now.

I certainly hope that Martin Brundle moves back over to commentate. Though he was particularly good with Murray, his knowledge, ability to analyse strategy and general awareness and reactions are priceless to the F1 experience.
