After the domination of the McClaren in Australia, the Ferraris roared back to the fore in Sepang. A bad weekend overall for the McClaren team saw tehm struggling to qualify well and eventually being penalised for a violation of interference with other driver qualifying runs. Add in poor pit stops (Which is a perrenial problem for this  team)and a resurgent Ferrari that was top qualifier made it difficult for Lewis Hamilton to do well. Raikkonen drove well and had an emphatic win to make up for the disappointment of the previous race. Roll on Bahrain.

Yes, they raced at Bahrain. Very interesting outcome. The practice and qualifying threw up a couple of surprises. The Ferraris qualified well, as usual, but the McClarens struggled in comparison. The biggest surprize was that Robert Kubica and the BMW managed to get pole with an astounding performance from both car and driver. However, he could not translate the pole to a win but still managed a deserving 3rd place. The Ferraris dominated the race and it was Massa who took the win. Hamilton struggled through out the weekend and after a poor start and a bump with Alonso had to pit to replace a nosecone. tehn didn't manage to do much with a poorly handling car. Keeps the title race very open.

Well Iguess a competitive title race is what keeps fans on the edge of their seats. I did see a headline where Hamilton apologised for letting the team down.

He needed to. Gave them a lot of work to do rebuilding his car and then lost his cool during the race apparently.
