Only just seen the news as i was avoiding scorelines as i wanted to watch the SNF and MNF games.

Its funny hes fired !  He was the 'golden' boy the other year, then drafted Tebow (the new coach might not be that happy with him) and now the Donks are in disarray

He was the next big thing for them in much the same way that Kiffin was for the Raiders. Difference being that kiffin may still make it. Don't think McDaniels will. But after a few years in the wilderness, he might do a Bellichek.

I dont know, if Kiffin can make it then McDaniels can.  Thing is they gave McDaniels too much power, let him coach but dont let him make every personal decision and think its Madden '10 when it comes to the draft and he goes crazy wheeling/dealing.

A year ago at 6-2 was it, he was the expert, everyone thought he was god and now look.

Kiffin and McDaniels will probably return at some point.  But to me McDaniels had done something, had done a great job with the Pats as offensive co ordinator.

Kiffin had done nothing previous, wasnt even a college HC or offensive co ordinator.  He was an assistant, Davis took a gamble (After getting turned down by Steve.S) and it backfired sadly.

Yeah Al's difficult to work for but Kiffin was immature big time.  Also was the same with Tennessee getting all those warnings and tickings off from the NCAA for the way he acted.

Think Kiffins totally over rated, we all hoped he would be Gruden Mk II, many of us liked him as he wasnt a retread coach like Shell/Fassel and other rumoured names.  Just acted like a spoilt kid, 76 yard FG, wearing white at home, slating Al during press conferences, all embarassing.
