Hahaha. Awesome. Such a shame the truly lethal Slade Norris, Stryker Sulak LB tandem never worked out for us too! Their names were truly lethal! Cheesy

Al loves his corners and these guys have cool names ...  Cheesy

CB DeMarcus Van Dyke, Miami- His 4.28 40 yard dash is the fastest of the 2011 combine and the third fastest 40 yard dash this millennium just behind Raiders' big-new-contract-corner Stanford Routt who ran a 4.27 back in 2005.

CB Buster Skrine, Tennessee-Chattanooga- Skrine set a new recent combine record in the 60 yd shuttle (10.75). He was second in the 20 yard shuttle and third overall (3.90), with the best 3 cone among corners and second overall (6.44).

I suggested Van Dyke a couple of weeks ago in the Mock Draft thread.

He's got speed but also size at 6 foot 1. He might remind him of Nmandi.

And Bartholomew actually makes sense, in a huge area of need.

Ive also mentioned Jeff Mahl a couple of times. But people have always questioned his speed. Not anymore.

Nice one Vann. Skrine's stats remind me of Trevor Scott who performed minor miracles for his H/W at a variety of the drills. There was a particularly good site once upon a time that listed all the results in formatable tables, but I believe it's gone premium now.

I think Van Dyke is a much slighter athlete than Nnamdi. He's not even 180lbs. I'm sure he could put weight on, but Nnamdi's just a naturally bigger guy, big enough to have been considered a safety to start out with. But of course he's going to get a look in at the position, particularly with his background in track.

The 40 times of Fabian Washington and Stanford Routt are constantly changing. But I always remember the first published times I saw of theirs, Washington's was 4.27 and Routt's was even faster at 4.26. These could have been unofficial times, which are always subject to change.
