Lane Kiffin has confirmed that the starters job is now between Daunte and Josh, with Walter the odd man out. Kiffin said that this is more to do with how the others have played rather than the poor play of Walter.

I think Walters lack of mobility really hurt himm in the long run. I think Kif is going to move the pocket and wants a mobile QB That's McNown all the way and Culpeppers proven his mobility is back. That said the experience of Dante is goig to win the day here. Josh needs to prove he's not a liabilty in the passing game. Unless Culpeppers falls on his face Thursday, that's not likely because he's gotten better with each game.

Week one will see Dante Culpepper at the helm of the Raiders.

According to the Raiders website McCowan will be the Starting QB for the first game  Shocked
