Well I'm off to sunny SD in January - fly on the 2nd and will be there to the Fri for work.
Looking forward to it. May fly back on the Saturday and go up to LA for the Friday night.

Not very long for that distance. You will hardly be able to get over the jet lag before the return journey. When they send me out to the States, I am always there over a Saturday 'cos the cost of flights versus the accomodation etc. is more than offset.

That's ok if your firm will allow it. Some are not so keen on paying for a business trip and then let you take advantage of it.

They'd be ok with it - especially as its fairly common to fly weekends/bank holidays. Bit of give and take really
