Well Dennis Allen is the first to come back for a second interview.  Been reading up on the guy, seems a very promising up and coming coach.  Did a very good job with Denver in his first year there as their defense were dire last year, much improved this year.

I would be happy with a rookie HC who can develop our team and grow with us, would much rather that than a has been like Capers or Tice.  Good as co ordinators but i wouldnt want them as HC

Did a great job with Fox on that Denver D. A defensive backfield coaching history with some serious success with defensive lines (4-3 systems) at the Falcons and Saints. Good fit!

There does seem to be some talent being interviewed but I'm hoping that they make a decision soon so that the new HC can start getting his staff sorted out. The more time they have to get their collective act together, before the players are introduced to them, the easier the transition to whatever schemes, plans they have should be.

Yep its gone on for a while, then again if McKenzie hired Winston Moss instantly he would have got a ton of grief for giving one of his good friends the job.  We've finally got a GM at long last so i'm okay with it taking a bit longer (hey i'm used to it with the Raiders !)

McKenzie says there should be a coach in place by the weekend. Apparently the NFL dont like hires during this college game/period so they normally happen either before it or after.

Funny that coach turned down Tampa Bay, if that was up it'll be major headline news on every NFL website
