FOX Sports on MSN - NFL -

Remove one pre-season game and add one regular season game. Recipe for success?

I think a recipe for a lot more injuries the way the game is played today.

Agreed , injuries are part of the game and one more game won't make that much of a differance. Best way would be 8 games in non franchise cities 4 in canada and mexico and 4 in europe every season. No hassle of more home games for some than others plus develops the nfl in new markets like LA , germany etc.

There have been players that have complained a lot about the number of games in a season with having basically 20, 4 pre-season and 16 regular season. they wanted to reduce the number of preseson games. Obviously the fans want to get their money's worth out of their season tickets. So at least the number of games isn't proposed to be changing. It may be better to keep an even number of regular season games to reduce fan complaints.
