F1 : Hamilton wins dramatic rain hit Monaco GP - Monaco - F1-Live.comOn a day where the weather had more to do with the eventual outcome than the strategys of the top teams in motor racing, Lewis Hamilton overcame the rain affected track and the Ferraris to win in Monaco. Hamilton started off the wet race well overtaking Raikonnen at the start but hit the barrier causing a puncture early in the race. This maent an unscheduled trip into the pits to change tyres and also his race strategy. This was to change his luck and by having a greater fuel load he outlasted the others before having to stop again and was helped by a Safety Car period closing him up to the leaders. When the cars in front of him pitted, he took the lead and never lost it. Robert Kubica drove well to finish ahead of Massa's Ferrari. Hamilton now leads the championship ahead od of Raikonnen, who didn't score at Monaco.
