It's still toy town compared to games back home. I go to at least one Raiders game on the east coast a year. I have never had a problem mixing with the other teams fans. I fact I have a good time. I compare my experience with going to away games watching  Man Utd. It's chalk and cheese. I fact I tell people about my experiences going to away games at chelsa, Villa, abroad etc. People in the States are horrified. Half the time it's fans who get popped up on the way then as they tale gate and then at the game.

I've been to 9 nfl games in the states and never had a security issue. In Oakland they had armed policeman stationed just by the front seats and constantly scanning the crowd for trouble. One guy was chucked ou for bringing in his own beer but that's it. The only slightly rowdy trouble was between 2 KC Chiefs fans who started gobbing off to each other and I thought that was getting close to kicking off but it didn't. In Texas stadium my friend was wearing a Skins shirt (they were playing the skins so it wasn't just a f.u. to the boys) and he did get a bit of abuse but it was the right side of banter not nasty per se.

I had a look at you tube and most of its just shouting, heckling and a bit of pushing but it doesn't reflect well on either the Chargers or Raiders.
The way to stop things like that is segregation of the fans - and like in football here you would have an away end.
