Should have a better idea after this who will start for the Raiders at QB, though Lane is playing his cards close to his chest.

I'm no expert as I tend to just listen on Field Pass (and I dont usually stay up for pre-season games).

I know a few people that use Sopcast to find stations that are streaming and I think Yahoo Game Pass only covers the regular season. Mind you I thought that was expensive anyway.

I would go to the Raiders officail website they might have info on where to see the game, or at least listen to a radio  or webcast. The site is raiders.com.

a 20 - 10 victory over the little lambies. Culpepper did ok, I've just watched the highlights on NFL.com and about to listen back to the game. He scrambled 3 times to avoid the blitz and didn't look to have any problems with the knee.

Of more concern was the o-line that gave up 4 sacks and was led to a less than effective run game. Jordan had 41 yards on 18 carries. That is simply not good enough.

The highlight was Porter's one handed catch in traffic. Great stuff.

I think Culpepper is definitely going to start.  He controlled the pace of the game well and is starting to look really comfortable with the plays.  Also, the players were with him 100% (apart from the o-line) which as you said was leaking pretty bad and getting banged around.

Beautiful catch by Porter and Curry's jink to get rid of that safety was a joy to watch.

I would be kicking the o-lines asses in practice though because that was unacceptable.

I have to say that yes the line was brought down to eartth a little bit with the average going down to 2.3 a carry and and giving up 4 sacks.  The flip side of that was that the rams were stacking the box and blitzing on every down despite the pressure Oakland moved the ball well and never looked fazed even after the turnover on the 1 yard line. They came right back and scored. This team doesn't play like a team going through the motions. They bounce back adjust and push forward. I think that more than a few teams are going to be in for a rude awakening when Raiders pull into town.

Also this is Dante's team you just get that feeling every time he plays. He's got that fire, Pep's going to put da Raiders on his back and take them to a winning record. Raider's shock the world 10-6 and a shot at the post season. You herd it here 1st.

I'm with you here the Raiders are going to surprise a lot of people though I'm not sure about 10 -6. Man I'd be ecstatic if taht happened.
I was thinking 7 - 9. A 5 game improvement isn't beyond expectations. If the defence plays like they did last year and the offence does something we'll have more than enough to beat the likes of the Browns, Lions etc

Any win is a good win. Solid performance by the looks of highlights. It'll be a slow gradual progress.
.500 season would be a great season but i fancy we might sneak a 9-7
