It would seem that his patience has been rewarded. For such a controversial figure to have this level of patience makes you wonder why he could not restrain himself before. Or is it that he is older and wiser(?) or just happy where he is?

Think he's finally foound his spiritual home, plus the fact he's no spring chicken and would never have got such a deal elsewhere.

I don't think that he would have been much worse off financially if he had gone elsewhere but I think that he sees the potential of the team and still wants to get that elusive SB ring.

He's 34 -  I doubt any other team would have give him a 4 year $34m deal, though I guess there's some "options" built.

I don't rate the Cowboys, not convinced that Romo is a good QB and I'm going for them as the biggest flop next year.

They are a team full of talented players but they seem to hit a wall come the post season.

The way TO is, I would not be surprised to see him playing even after this deal ends.
