Considering purchasing one of these next year:-

NFL GamePass

Looks like USD200 lets you watch every Raiders game, presuming pricing is same as 2007.

Anyone done this before, is it reliable, what is the quality like ??

never done it mate. Heard mixed reports about the quality. I do buy field pass each year so I get to listen to the games - and at least the archive is permanent and not taken off after 7 days.

Haven't done it, but if you do go ahead with it, I would be very interested in learning more.

I had it last season for the second half of the season, as they put an offer on for the half season. It's excellent quality, and you can watch the games as many times as you like up until the following Wednesday, and you can choose any game from that week..It also saves the messing about with Sopcast and TVU, as last year the CBS feeds disappeared after a few weeks of the season.
You can actually order just one week to try it out I think, but there are no worries on the quality at all.If the P2P options are dodgy again this season I think I will be ordering Yahoo.

Thanks Leighraider.

Think thats the way I'm gonna watch the action this season.  Hopefully there will be a lot of exciting action to see this year from the Silver and Black Smiley

An update on this one.

I was not sure whether to do this, and then they released the HD version so could not resist. It is USD240 for the season.

I have the all access HD version. You can basically watch any game, in HD, apart from the main Sunday games on Sky which get Blacked Out as part of Sky's rights.

So got the Giants Thursday night, and could happily flick between HD feeds of the games last night, apart from Dallas and Tampa games.  I mostly watched Jets and Chargers games (what a heartbreaking end lol lol).  The HD feed looks fantastic on my laptop, and I also tested i with an HDMI to my TV and the quality is better than Sky, who don't take HD feeds for NFL yet.

Only drawback is that the action is approx a minute behind, but if you are only going to watch this feed that's not an issue (last night Sky gave a couple of updates before I saw them from Jets game).

Any questions let me know.

I am trying to find a workaround to the NBC games that are being shown on nfl.com.  At present it is locked to US ip only but I have a plugin for Mozilla called foxyproxy.  Basically what it does is show you to have a dns range and ip from the country of the site you are trying to view.

It is a little complicated at present but a few friends in the states manage to watch the bbc stuff online and that is restricted to the UK.

I will keep you informed how it goes.

Gamepass is essential for a fan, for years I did the internet radio which was great listening to Greg Papas but obviously seeing the real thing is 100 times better.

Used a dodgy site back in 2005 which wasnt bad (Shame the games werent great), then i went to NFL Gamepass.  Its had its moments but they do normally fix it (eventually !)

Went with HD this year and i'm amazed how good it was.  One game (Bengals/Ravens) i had trouble connecting to but watching Jets/Dolphins the quality was immense.  Very impressed by it, saying that i will go mad if the Raiders/Chiefs game has problems on sunday !

But well worth the money so far.  Only problem is is avoiding the results as i like to watch games throughout the week
