It should show up any continuing problems with both lines and provide a better overall challenge.

I think that you are not alone in that, but even if it does there is still a little bit of time to address it.

Not bad, lines looked ok. Higgins shouldn't be returning punts after that dance by the endzone - ever heard of a fair catch Johnnie?

Oren O'Neals fumble was a killer, we would have won the game if not for that.

Kiffin said he would never give oneal a carry normally but wanted to give him a TD in front of his home crowd and family.

What Went Wrong, H1: vs TN

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

EVERY major error by ANY Raider player in H1 vs TN.

Time to start holding em accountable.

If you saw TN's superfast CJ run for +16 on one play, then +15 the next, and wondered to yourself, or perhaps aloud---what the hell is going on out there?!

Here's the answer to ALL questions, EXACTLY:

1. JLH stops on opening KO, Coop holds. Who: JLH, Coop.

2. Fargas no gain---Carlysle and Gallery shed by DT's, Wade on a LB, good. Who: Carlysle and Gallery.

3. Walker drops a slant on 3rd down. Who: Walker.

4. Fargas no gain---Haynesworth thru Wade like paper, others good. Who: Wade.

5. Smoke screen, Curry no gain, QB check down, bad read. Who: Russell.

6. Eugene hold on 2nd PR. Who: Eugene.

7. McFad +1 (broke 3 tackles)---Carlysle tossed by a human (not AH), forces RB wide, Miller beat by Kearse in front, Griffith lost in space. Who: Carlysle, Miller, Grif.

8. Too tall for Walker, incomplete. Who: Russell.

9. McFadden +1. AH cans Harris like he's not there, chases McFad from the side, over RG, ON plus, Green plus, Gallery plus, Carlysle plus, Wade zero, Miller plus. Who: Harris.

10. Screen to Fargas on 3rd and 9, no gain---bunch WR's that side sposed to clear, didn't work, Wade in front tries to cut LB, misses bad, Carlysle way late. Who: Wade, Carlysle.

No one on D has yet made the costly error, TN's gone twice 3-and-out.

11. Lendale White +22---Kelly came down too far, Wilson driven bad outta hole by TE #83, Mo ran past, changed mind, too late, air, Huff tackles from behind. Who: Kelly, Wilson, Mo.

12. Offside, Richardson, on 3rd and 3.

13. 2nd and 7 on the 10, the play before Miller's TD---Wade holds AH, Grif misses LDE, Russell runs around DE easily, Russell hit a spot, good for 6, Carter got 2 hands. Who: Wade, Grif, Carter.

14. Miller's TD---AH stunted around RE, ran thru Fargas and Harris, made Russell run. Who: Fargas, Harris.

15. Gage +18 from Young, look-in L, just beat CJ, Huff a step late, Warren coming, hands up, Kelly bulls two 3 yards, no heat from E's. Who: CJ.

16. Holding Routt.

17. False start Routt.

18. White +3 on 3rd and 1, over RT, Kelly penetrates good, tries to come down, trips in traffic, Burg is who's being attacked, turned in by 1 hit from RT, down he goes, Warren comes from far side, tackles from behind, Mo runs thru RT, gets under the tackle, good play. Who: Burg, Kelly.

19. Burg next play gives up R flat, Young rolls out, saved by Ho's speed who chases QB outta bounds for +5. Who: Burg.

20. Grove's 1st play, 5th series, vs AH, fights well 2 secs, then beat, holds at 2.5 secs, lets go, AH hits QB who throws to McFad for +5.

21. Gallery holds AH with right arm, gets flagged.

22. Incomplete, JLH 10 yard out on R, pass tipped hi by under LB, protection excellent, AH vs Gallery. Who: Russell.

23. False start Harris, lined up over AH.

24. McFad no gain, stretch R, Green beat by DE Hayes. Who: Green.

25. JLH runs wrong route.

26. CJ sweeps R for +16---Ricky Brown is stacked there, controlled by RT, Thomas' angle leaves him behind, Waddell buried by pulling LG. Who: Brown, Thomas, Waddell.

27. CJ +15---Kelly turned out by RG, Warren fights even 1st step vs LG, loses, Thomas at MLB blocked out by C, a little bit of holding, L arm, by C. Who: Kelly, Warren, Thomas.

28. JLH fumbles.

29. 2nd and 8, Green tries to cut LDE Conover, really bad, poor Russell has to run back and far R, throws it away. Who: Green.

30. Sack---TN blitzed 6---when Carlysle failed to block LB #55, helping Grove instead, it forced Grif to wall #55, which he does, inside guy first, but CB outside comes free, Harris plus, Gallery zero, Grove zero, Green plus, Grif plus, Miller at LHB goes out. Who: Carlysle.

31. CJ +12---Spires at ILB, 3 man DL, NT Sands fights off C 2nd step, but when CJ cuts back cuz Alston's in his face in front, it puts Sands on the wrong side, walled last second, LE Shaw outside push, ok, RE Richardson upfield, fine, Alston fills great, Spires floating runs past cutback, CJ so shifty, Ricky Brown almost at short S runs up, blocked at point, +5 yards, by RG #69. Who: Sands, Spires, Ricky Brown.

32. Scaife +22 on 3rd and 15, no heat, minus: Shaw, Sands, Richardson, zero: Spires, Baker dives for ball, beat by Collins' throw, beat by TE by 1 step. Who: Baker.

33. Ealy +17 on 3rd and 10, no heat, Spires, Sands, Shaw, Richardson, 4 minuses, between our CJ and Eugene. Who: CJ, Eugene.

34. Shaw offside on 3rd and 13.

Totals:

Carlysle 4, JLH 3, Wade 3, Russell 3, Harris 3, Kelly 3, Gallery 2, Eugene 2, Grif 2, CJ 2, Routt 2, Burg 2, Green 2, Thomas 2, Ricky Brown 2, one each---Coop, Walker, Miller, Wilson, Mo, Richardson, Carter, Fargas, Grove, Waddell, Warren, Spires, Sands, Baker, Shaw

Thanks jonesey! Looks to me that there are far too many minuses even for a pre-season game. Hopefully they can learn from this game and show some improvement against the Cards.
